WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept payments made through PayPal.

WILL SALES TAX BE CHARGED?
Sales tax will be assessed on purchases shipped to California.

WILL THE WATCH FIT ME?
Yes - one size fits all! The band is just over 8 inches (220 mm) long and can be adjusted down to 6 3/4 inches (172 mm) short by removing links. If you need an extra large band, you can purchase extra links at $5/link (+ an additional shipping charge of $5 for US shipments and $7 for Canadian shipments) by sending a request to support@we-wood.us.

HOW TO REMOVE LINKS - PINS WITH NO SCREWS 
First, look at each end of the PIN to determine which drill hole is smaller. Push PIN with metal tool through the SMALL end to remove link. KEEP pins to put clasp back on the band.

HOW TO REMOVE LINKS - PINS WITH SCREWS
Remove links until desired size:

DATE:  loosen SCREW with a screw driver or flat head and pull it out with a tweezer or your fingertips to remove link. If necessary, give the screw a push with the end of a paperclip to remove it from the link. KEEP screws to put clasp back on the band.

WHAT IF I AM ALLERGIC TO METAL?
Although our watches are predominantly wood, the clasp of the watches is in metal and is in contact with the skin. If you have an allergic reaction to metal, we cannot guarantee that you will not be affected by the metal clasp.

WHAT SHOULD I KNOW ABOUT WOOD ALLERGIES?
 A hypoallergenic product minimizes the risk of allergies. It does' t have preservatives, dyes, alcohol, or nickel derivatives. Hypoallergenic does not mean anti-allergy. Allergies in fact, are unique for each body and can occur from any type of product.

ALLERGY DISCLAIMER
Please be informed that our products are made using 100% natural wood, and we don't use any toxic chemicals to treat or protect them. There are very few people who might experience an allergic reaction to woods. We suggest that while you are wearing the watch within the first few weeks, you should monitor your skin. In the remote possibility that you begin to experience any discomfort on your wrist or any kind of itch or rash, please stop wearing the watch immediately and visit your doctor.
WeWOOD disclaims all responsibility for any resulting damages, injuries or expenses related to causes created by wearing the wooden watch.

WHAT DOES THE BACK OF THE WATCH LOOK LIKE?

IS WEWOOD WATER RESISTANT?
No, but you can consider it splash-proof. It does just fine in the kitchen, even on the beach, but please don't take WeWOOD swimming! Like any natural wood, the wood slightly expands when getting wet, and this makes the flexibility of the links less supple. Generally, the wood fully recovers when dry. 

CAN I REPLACE THE BATTERY?
Yes, you can replace the battery at any jewelry or watch shop.

HOW MUCH DOES THE WATCH WEIGH?
Feather-light WeWood weighs in at a mere 1.5 ounces (42 grams) - you barely notice it's on your arm.

HOW DO I KEEP MY WATCH CLEAN?
For unvarnished wood, mix two tsps each of olive oil and lemon juice and apply a small amount to a soft cotton cloth. Wring the cloth to spread the mixture further into the material and apply to the furniture using wide strokes. This helps distribute the oil evenly. If at any time your watch looks lighter or starts to change in appearance, we recommend that you apply a natural coating such as beeswax, lip balm, butcher block oil or walnut oil. Regular application can help to protect it against damage and improve the durability of the wood and help maintain the moisture balance to prevent drying or cracking.

DO YOU SHIP TO P.O. BOXES?
Shipments sent via FedEx 2-Day Air can not be shipped to a P.O. Box address, no exceptions. Standard shipping rates via USPS can be shipped to a P.O. Box. 

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Yes, we ship to any country capable of receiving mail via DHL. Please be advised that international orders can take several weeks for delivery, depending on the mail system of the receiving country. Customers are responsible for any extra duties, taxes, or shipping fees that may be charged by their specific locality.  Please note, any order that is returned to WeWOOD because it is unclaimed by the customer or because the customer refuses to pay any extra fees, cannot be fully refunded but the customer will receive a store credit for the returned merchandise. PLEASE NOTE: Due to customs and duties, we are unable to return or exchange items outside of US and Canada.

WHAT IS THE WeWOOD WARRANTY?
WeWOOD offers 24 months limited warranty on manufacturer defects. For more information, click here.

CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE MY WEWOOD?

WeWOOD products are non-refundable.

Any WeWOOD watch purchased with a 25% discount or more cannot be returned or exchanged for a different style. All discounted sales are final.

You can return any watch purchased at full price or discounted less than 25% for exchange or "store-credit" for any reason within 5 days of receiving your watch.  If you need to make a return, please follow this process:

    1. First, send an email to support@we-wood.us expressing your intent to return the watch, along with a photo of the watch, a description of the style and color, and the receipt confirmation of your purchase. If you do not know the style, please browse our collection to identify the style. Please also specify your address, phone number & email where we can reach you if we need to contact you for further information. Be sure that your receipt includes the date your watch was purchased.
    2. Our customer service department will respond to your request, and issue an RA number, which is a unique identifier for your return.
    3. Once you receive the RA number, download a return form and fill it out in its entirety. Be sure to include your RA number in the corresponding section
    4. Scan the completed return form and email it to support@we-wood.us
    5. Mail the watch to the address indicated on the return form, including a physical copy of the return form.
    6. Our office will receive your package and take the appropriate action.

Please make sure to contact our customer service office (email support@we-wood.com or call 323-848-4896 9am-5pm PST) to get an RA (Return Authorization) Number before sending in the watch.
 
NOTE: For return and exchange outside of US and Canada territory customer will be fully responsible for shipment costs and extra fees (taxes, custom and duties etc.)

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY OVER THE HOLIDAYS?
As a courtesy to our customers, we will be extending our exchange and return policy during the holidays. For any watch purchased before Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day please send an email to support@we-wood.us no later than 7 days after the holiday and we will be happy to help you. 

For the Holiday season, please keep in mind there is a 3-5 Business day window for shipping and processing orders (Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day).

CAN I RETURN OR REPAIR MY BROKEN WATCH?
At WeWOOD, we want you to be happy with your purchase. We stand by the quality of our products by accepting return on a watch broken from manufacturer defects within 24 months of purchase. We also offer affordable repair options for any damage that may result from daily use. It is $30 for repair of links (shipment back to customer included) and $40 for repair of movement (shipment back to customer included). In order to send your watch in, please follow these steps:

  1. First, send an email to support@we-wood.us expressing your intent to return the watch, along with a photo of the watch  and the part to be fixed, a description of the style and color, and the receipt confirmation of your purchase. If you do not know the style, please browse our collection to identify the style. Please also specify your address, phone number & email where we can reach you if we need to contact you for further information. Be sure that your receipt includes the date your watch was purchased.
  2. Our customer service department will respond to your request, and issue an RA number, which is a unique identifier for your return or repair.
